The actual answer is: Just enough to convince people to vote for you.

This site lists the Hendricks County elected government positions and information about each job including duties that are to be performed by the person holding that office. Make a selection from the menu on the left to display more about that office.

To run for any of these positions contact the county chairman of the Republican, Democrat, or Libertarian Parties to see if you qualify to run as that party's candidate for the position. You can run as an Independent if you collect enough signatures or you can be a write in candidate. Contact the Hendricks County Election office for more details on any of these options.
